If CGNPC were no longer interested they would not say this:CGNP said that it reserved the right to make a new offer, or participate in one, for Kalahari in the next six months under certain conditions.
These include reaching another takeover agreement with Kalahari, if another company bids for the London-listed uranium junior, OR if Kalahari merged with Extract Resources, OR if Extract's ownership of Husab is "materially" reduced, OR if "there is a material change of circumstances".
That's a lot of ORs.
It is apparent they still want Husab and hope to do a better deal in 3 months in accordance with the regulations.
