Has anyone else had their dividends reduced due to withholding tax?
Link Market informed me that because the latest dividend was unfranked my previous ATO exemption for franked dividends isn’t valid any longer.
It sounds like the Federal Government is desperate to hold onto my $4 until the end of the financial year!
That is also the aim of franked dividend, for the government to hold jour money until the end of June.
