Here are the organization which organized the protests in Hong Kong:
HK Institute of Human Rights Management
HK Confederation of trade unions
HK journalists Association
Civic Party
Labour Party
Democratic Party.
There is a claim that each of these organizations took money from a funder called "The National Endowment for Democracy" (NED)
Now the NED is a CIA funded "NGO" which has operated to destabilize Governments around the World.
This could develop to be an interesting story.
-----------------------
As I understand it, at present there is no extradition agreement between HK and China.
This means that if someone went from China to HK and committed a crime, then he/she returned to China, HK cannot get that person back from China for trial.
On the other hand if someone went from HK to China, committed a crime and then he/she went back to HK, China cannot get that person extradited from HK back to China for trial.
------------------------
So although it appears that the HK protesters do not feel happy with the HK justice system, the fire for protest is probably further fuelled by players in other Governments.
