God was a hard sell. A bit over the top, so they invented something more tangible... Jesus. along came the new testament (take two). the whole story survives on mystery, magic and miracles, also the promise of an afterlife. combine that with the arrogance of being created separate from the greater animal kingdom and you have some serious misguided people.
