Hi Metal - some interesting thoughts there. Have to correct the bit about me quoting IG - I was actually quoting someone who had been to an AGM. The trish part of wllmtrish I believe, from memory. The comment was posted on HC and resonated with me at the time because he is our only significant holder and has driven events since he first invested in Alliance. I have never been to an AGM (mea culpa !) and have not met any board members, nor spoken to one. I think I once saw IG on St Georges Tce in Perth though. It looked like him ! Aren't we registered there ?

The announcement was clearly not written for shareholders - to give us confidence in the company. The best we could say (as jag suggested ) is that it may have been written for GA/HG/Q - to let Neal Blue know that Deloitte and its 2 M and A professionals are there to be talked to. Lawyers would not have the negotiating skills of business/financial specialists. .. Often they make things worse !

Looks like you'll be right too re the court case. Only Q will have the power to stop that - unless we withdraw or they succeed in bankrupting us :-
