Copper is a great metal but it doesnt need a radical fruitcake theory Like Tony's to do extremely well over the next decade because there is not enough mine grade resources for current demand and its a really useful metal.
Tony says a lithium battery will be $50/kwh by 2030 and should be $90/kwh now. Got a quote for a powerwall last month $14k for 13kwh installed or $1000 per kwh approx. EVs cost $10-20K more than ICE and eventually need battery replacement (fuel tank replacement), vehicle 2nd owner at the 10+ year mark might have an expensive maintenance replacing the battery which makes depreciation horrendous on EV. I'm sure battery price will come down, great. Eventually battery tech which may not even need lithium will be the energy storage de-jour and fossil fuels will go the way of the dinosaur but its at least 30-50 years off IMO.
I'm bullish copper and bullish oil and gas to 2040.
