I agree that the silence is defening but I believe that the big setback for SRL was when the Australia/China political freeze began because I was always under the impression that our partner would be Chinese and prior to that I don't really remember Sam talking up the US or the EU but I could be wrong.
Since then the Chinese have invested over $10 billion in Indonesian nickel projects and counting so you have ask yourself why wouldn't the Chinese who already had an offtake agreement with SRL, invest in a large shovel ready project in Australia with excellent ESG for $ 600m US?
And what is ironic is that the push for an agreement for a deal with the US and Indonesia on nickel is by the US OEMs who Sam wants as a partner!
