Perfection must surely include the ability to clearly see the consequences of decisions made and actions taken, yet Adam and Eve obviously lacked that ability and so could not be described as being a perfect creation....in fact the opposite is true, within the context of the story ( being a myth), they were created to fail. And to hasten their failure, the most subtle/cunning of all beasts in the garden was there to help things along.
