Who is Jesus Christ to you?, page-11

In all seriousness, that's a pretty good answer.
Once that image of Cesare Borgia gets out there it became the default image of Jesus.
His father had every image of Christ depicting a black or dark man destroyed so that those sent to kill Jews and Middle Eastern peoples didn't associate such people with an image of Christ.
I was leaning that way in my previous post which was a bit of a dig at images of Christ.

The other thing that is never depicted about Jesus in imagery is that He was very small and diminutive. A first century historian claimed He was 4'6". Almost dwarf like. There are accounts of Him not being able to be seen in crowds or His followers fearful of Him being injured in crowds because He was small in stature.

Kind of like the distillation of the image of alien greys. Abductees have finally settled on what a grey alien looks like and they now have their typical alien image. We have our minds-eye image of Christ because Cesare Borgia was used to pose for portraits of the Christ to replace those pesky black Christs that made killing Jews and such less palatable.
