So compliance, money laundering and the Corporations Legislation appear to be on trial in Australia at the moment.
Looks like the wild south down under for which only ISX for the moment has been found to be a culprit?
The Kevin Lewis vs John Karantzis contest appears to be a test case for many more cases to come. The banks such as Westpac, BNPLs like Afterpay, insurers, wealth companies, AMP and IOOF all appear to have significant issues similar to what ISX faced in its early days with compliance, money laundering and Corporations legislation.
Huge risk for the whole ASX and the financial system? some companies would be watching ISX with keen interest not to mention the ASX, the regulators and the politicians let alone the media.
All Depends on the outcome of ISX, I guess?
