I hear what you are saying but I would say neither would be liars. You would have to go with Mr Genner on trust at this point and just be confident that what he is doing is in the best interest of us all.
The old saying "short term pain for long term gain" is jumping to mind although there has already been a hell of a lot of short term pain! Next few days may be the key according to other posters. Good luck.
