Not to take anything away from your situation but 3 months ago on 20th August i had a stroke and ended up in hospital for 7 days - i was lucky enough to walk out of the hospital 7 days later- i am very thankful to my fiancee and my family for the support they gave during this time. The irony is that i am relatively young (late 30's) and shows it can happen to any of us at any time
You are right about the money verses happiness comments. They are worlds apart- i.e money does not make one truly happy whereas family and friends do IMO , however it does help in the scheme of things
