The last time this occurred the Directors had a ringaround and stepped in and Bought around 5.6c. mid-2012.
In those days there was a need to reassure the market I believe. Now, with all that AVB has got going for it, and being cashed up with no CR in prospect, the Directors may not see the need for it... and just get on with the business of building a highly profitable mine and let the SP do its thing.
Just as well the CR at 7.5c was not delayed.
Woody's recent buy 500,[email protected] suggests he had no inkling of a drop to 5.6c, and if HE has no idea then what hope have mug punters got??? He is sitting on a paper loss of around $4,000 on that one. Then there is his BUY on 22/2/2012 of 2,000,000 @ 10c on market. That BUY represents a loss of nearly $100,000 on paper. Nice gesture... even if a very costly one.
I feel sorry for TP as he steps in more than most and has lost a fair bit, on paper. As of today.
I have made a list of Directors historic BUYING and what each acquisition represents in dollar terms to each Director. Fascinating.
As expected each director (except perhaps S.M. and excluding Luis) is sitting on a loss, and that does not include the expired and foregone opportunity of exercising Director Options which have all been totally useless financially for AVB Directors. Why shareholders would quibble over awarding the silly things is beyond me... especially considering the way Directors have stepped up to the plate in the past with their own cash... and are not winners on it, that's for sure.
So "who is making money out of AVB?" certainly not the Directors.
