The good news is that even with the SPP formally underway, buyers still outnumber sellers at a 2:1 ratio even with the penny manipulation ongoing.
It's amazing that this is not investigated by the ASX unless it's a process they're happy to endorse to manipulate the markets. I wonder what the legal aspect is on this point, ignoring the ethical component which seems to fall by the wayside.
My prediction is that I think the housing market is on the verge of stalling with house buyers becoming more intelligent as far as investments go, and many home owners today are struggling to pay the mortgage, even at such low interest rates. Scary for many but I think overall we'll start to see more liquidity in the markets which will pick up in due course.
