Gsizer,I too think that MB would be quite annoyed if indeed the exit of a large position before capital raising at presumed VWAP discount is not fortuitious. This would then suggest a leak somewhere.However this is for ASIC to decide. One must remember that one can be in position of inside information but one does not have to use it. To use the information however would be to contravene the corporation act.
The exit also unfortunately reduce the VWAP causing a reduction to the placement price leading to an unnecessary dilution for long suffering shareholders who over the years have played a no less important role in the survival and revival of the company than all the other stakeholders. It is time to bring the majority of the shareholders into the tent. Many of us thought that the 35cts placement was a reward for our loyalty but with this likely cruel stroke, we are condemned to more sufferings unless the AP deals is a game changer and the SP heads north.
