Perhaps you are right regarding it being a mate thing with the awarding of the drilling contracts. One has to ask though, is this responsible management procedures? jobs for the boys? I certainly hope Mr Wedlock does look into it and asks the question of management why it was allowed to happen.

You can't blame the drilling contractor if he submits a costing and it is accepted and he makes a huge profit from over charging. It's up to the Managing Director to ensure the best allocation of shareholders funds.
