I am in iso in the midst of the Northern Beaches Covid lockdown.
In the lead up to when case numbers hit 17 I had been out of area for 6 days but on the way home agreed to meet a former employee for s beer at a local brewery.
We sat outside 10m from anyone else. When my wife
texted me to say case numbers had grown to 17, I finished my beer quickly and headed straight home, where I:
1. used alcohol wipes on my mobile, glasses, glasses case, wallet, brief case and travel bag
2. dumped all my clothes in the washing machine and turned it on
3. jumped into the shower
No cases have been mentioned from the one NB venue I attended and I think enough time had passed now for me not to worry.
My wife however missed by just hours attending various venues in that lead up week since notified as contact locations ... she has been tested negative a week ago.
Its mind boggling how far and how quickly CV can potentially spread ... I recommend people take it seriously.
