So sorry Sabre, normally I find your posts quite intelligent and maybe I might have missed something here. But when is Iran going to have this new oil field producing? Tomorrow? Next week? Next month? I think more like 2012 therefore ZERO impact on today's oil price or today's futures. I thought you had some understanding of the oil industry and how long it takes to get the correct infrastructure in place to take advantage of new oil fields. It's not just a matter of drilling a hole in the ground and 'WALLA we got oil!' The industry has changed a lot in the last 60 years, things have got to be done properly. Just look what happened to Santos in Indonesia with the infamous mud well.
