Getting back to business....
The issue of Macquarie and its charter to find cashed up farm in partners.
In my experience(not in the oil and gas sector},these sort of companies don't just take on any old job,Empire would have had to put their cards on the table,shown em what their got and what they wanted,Macquarie to take on the job must have thought it was feasible and worth doing,i.e, they could make a quid out of it without effecting their companies standing.
The fact that they lasted in the job for around 8 months leads me to believe they had identified interested parties but couldn't seal the deal.
I wonder if a new board may change that.
