It is a dangerous game that's being played out.
Lavrov and Putin know only too well that Poroshenko is doing his utmost to create dissident between Russia and the West. IMO, Nuclear weapons won't come into play unless there is a major game changer to cause US or Russia to act.
A major concern which a few writers have previously mentioned which could be catastrophic would be an attack on any one of the 15 Nuclear Reactors in Ukraine, in particular the plant at Zaporizhia which has 6 reactors SE Ukraine.
Last year in May, an attempt was made by a group of gunmen from the Right Sector to gain entry.
Given, I am not a fan of their "rag paper", I do take heed that they could very well be planting the "false flag" seed as a precursor to blaming Russia or the Separatists if something were to happen.
I do believe that it is "the canary in the coalmine" situation that would spark outrage by the West and more than likely an immediate response from NATO.
