I’ve done some quick analysis from the Top 50 from 26 June 2017 compared to the top 50 from 1 March 2018.
A quick summary:
Total shares held by Top 50
23 June 2017 : 426,269,755
1 March 2018: 425,074,276
A few larger holders dropped out of the Top 50 during this period, however, majority of the those shares have been soaked by others holders within the 50 who have continued to accumulate.
No. 50 share count
23 June 2017 : 1,090,000
1 March 2018: 1,200,000
The number 50 spot on the Top 50 list has increased – It could be seen as a consolidation period, Top 50 has been accumulating, they obviously see value.
While this doesn’t tell a lot on possible SP manipulation, it does provide confidence that value is seen in the shareprice with Top 50 continuing to accumulate.
It does be the question on the other 182 million shares (not held by Top 50 holders) what games are being played with them?
