I am no food retailer but i have been saying to others for a while that kfc should make sure they sell coke products instead of pepsi, and also use healthier high oleic oils in their mix
good news on one front - they are going to use high oleic canola oil which should be a boost to ckf
i was a bit perplexed by another announcement by yum brands a while ago saying they were not going to advertise during kids programs - it is allright to be as pure, as long as your opposition is! lots of places selling chicken -even the pizza places are into it and of course mcdonalds pushes it also - despite the good news about healthier oil they will still have some challenges in the short term - sizzler obviously a bigger worry than kfc but i will hang in as all kfc stores in qld got to be an asset
wonder if yum brands would think about taking them out? i see they were hoping to get jack cowans(? spelling) stores in w.a.
