Initial outlay costs would be far greater - agreed

Running costs over a 25 year period - and I'm sure the desal plants would more than catch up on costs

Piping the water can also cover a far greater area of water distribution and open up the state between the Kimberley and Perth

Just my thoughts

I guess its a similar argument to the Snowy Mountain Scheme
