Hmmm ... back then we drew our charts manually on graph paper with next day data from the Fin Review .. Metastock was one of the first charting programs and I still use it .. the best investment I ever made ..
HDR got a mention and this stock was a traders dream back then .. the monthly swings would keep well into the green .. found a chart from 2005.
Also, there was passionate work being done with ETO's and trading systems with each passionate about their approach .. lot's of debates and sharing of knowledge as each developed their various strategies.
Whilst exchanges were often heated there was always a degree of mutual respect.
For those who remember, one the goals of the XJO (ETO's) group was the development of a RISK FREE Option Strategy which was considered impossible .. took me two years to develop the 'buffalo backspread' .. it still works !!
The good 'ol days of the wild, wild west .. gone but not forgotten.
