Original Announcement: Greenbush Project Update - Bakken Potential
Emerald Oil & Gas provided an update on its Greenbush Project in North Dakota, USA. The EMR's operator, Golden Eye Resources, has advised plans to drill two exploration wells back-to-back starting in mid July, 2008. Drilling activity in the Bakken Shale has recently significantly increased in North Dakota. On April 10, 2008 the United Sates Geological Survey released a report estimating that recoverable oil "resources" from the Bakken within the USA portion of the Williston Basin could reach 3.65b bbls.
