Problem with Optane :
-Expensive to manufacture (cost per GB high)
-Did not meet DRAM speed (speed in Microseconds)
-Only compatible with Intel Processors
-Endurance 10^6
I currently use 32GB Optane with my work laptop and it does make a significant difference in performance, especially with the number of workloads / instances I have running.
What 4DS Memory delivered is ground breaking.
