Australia will have to align its restrictions with the US to prevent China from fully acquiring 4DS Memory. Australia just cannot afford to rock the boat any further with the Chinese.
The only way to prevent China from fully acquiring 4DS Memory is for the US to apply Sanctions (this will be a major escalation) or have a friendly acquire 4DS memory.
The other alternative is for 4DS Memory to relocate and register the company in the US and list it on the US stock exchange.
