Hi everybody, I see everybody is starting to get worried about the short seller. This reminds me very much of the short seller in FAR => Vinva http://www.vinva.com/ & their strategy is quantitative (meaning they don't look at the fundamentals, the strategy is more about cashflow and earnings momentum, which an oil explorer has none of). Please understand it has nothing to do with the great oil find or they have knowledge you dont have about the discovery, they don't! Its about the cash burn any successful oil explorer has & at some point they are betting you will need to raise more money. Also note this fund will try to manipulate the share price, they will constantly tick the bid side in small shapes in order to break the upward momentum. Being a FAR shareholder I have witnessed this fund consistently capping the share price & most notably during the end of the day's trading session. If you notice any odd trading that gives you the impression somebody is trying to mark the price down, it will be them. I have a long and tiring history of being a FAR shareholder! & understanding the pattern of the short seller, this to me looks exactly the same.....
