The carbon price fiasco is certainly not going to be helpful. Intec's process needs electricity for its electrowinning amongst many other things. Being a very small Company will its process receive any relief? I doubt it. I am sure that big Companies will get relief so that they can compete on the world stage. Intec's process even if it is successful, and I am sure it will be, will be off the RADAR screen for any relief payment. What the carbon price fiasco will do to the economics of the venture is anyone's guess.
As I have said before I have given up thinking about China, Iran etc. They are all too distant to be relevant at the moment.
