my take splashy is the copper price off a bit overnight and chinese data like inflation and growth hasn't been slowed by whatthe govt is trying to do to control them so maybe fear of further tightening monetary controls possibility of affecting commodity prices. i think this is just smart money opportunistically pushing the price down on a little 'bad news' to shake out and pick up some stock cheaper before the next run up.
