Our culture not unique Pint, it is shared by a dwindling number of nations.
A secular society, therefore we are defined by our institutions.
Democracy, education, judicial integrity, national welfare and healthcare, freedom of press and rights of the individual, environmental protection, etc.
In modern Oz most of these things we inherited from the Brits (for better or worse), even the concept of national parks.
We value a common culture dictated by benign but accepted institutions; we are not comfortable with minority lobby groups especially those that degrade the secular and political process.
We value systems that deliver egalitarianism, personal freedom & protection, free speech, the ability to house oneself & family, environmental space and the ability to spot a tosser from approx 1 kilometre away.
Not unique in the world but disappearing, these things have been diminishing for decades in oz.
We don't worship things but do appreciate them.
