    Great research there Periculum!

    Possible explanation; Owning the patents privately makes UNIS less attractive for hostile takeover.... as you rightly point out, it appears the IP is not with UNIS. However, UNIS is the vehicle for commercialising the IP and there must be some agreement for UNIS to do this otherwise they would be in breach of patent laws. It actually makes some sense to protect the IP to protect UNIS. Sort of answers the question why Big Pharma doesn't just buy up UNIS.
