Who really owns 4DS and will we see a takeover play anytime soon?

I have found this article from 2017, which has 4DS as a likely takeover target, which while a bit out of date, still holds some relevant information for a possible, perhaps likely end game.

Looking at the list of takeovers highlighted as relevant references in the industry, they range from $340M to $19B (US). With the 4ds market cap of $50M approc at 3 cents, this would imply at least 30 cents if 4DS was to match the lowest example.

If we have a successful result from the testing of the new chip, one wonders where the share price will move to – perhaps 10 – 12 cents initially – and if a takeover bid came in soon after (I can’t see Western Digital wanting others to share the tech or wanting to over pay) – would we even see 30 cents without a counter bid based on the current depressed share price, which should be trading at around 8 – 12 cents based on the news to date and past share performance?

What I also find interesting is that according to information available on the top 20 shareholders, the largest is only 3.3% with the top 20 only accounting for 19% of the company and this supposedly has not changed in 12 months, despite 20% of the company changing hands during the 3 days of trade after last August’s chip announcement – it can’t of all been bought and sold by traders and small investors. I even know K McG has 10M and he isn’t on the register.

This makes one wonder who owns shares oversees already, such as Western Digital?? Would be interested in others views on this, including how one finds out who owns shares in Foreign ownership
