Tricky, the people cropping up with mini projectors are of no concern and should be viewed favourably as they need someone to supply the light source. Namely ARR.(or other)
I think you will find that there arent that many operations out there that have the tech to supply the light source for laser? Please if someone has hunted them out could they provide a list. It may also be that each tech has different pluses and minuses?
I think ARR do have quite a bit of 'the shit' I mean look at their list of patents. Is there tech better than the others, I belive so but I am not a total tech head so that is just a belief that I have.
People ARR have a complete light source which as far as I am aware more than most of the other companies operating in a similar space have.
They have a huge JV partner funds and scaleable manufacturing. (pretty sure thats a massive head start)
Chilly I am hearing what you are saying re Mits however as has been highlighted before Texas Instruments are a customer of ARR and have been for a while (going from presentations and announcements by ARR) so I am not as sceptical of a possible tie up with Mits. There is the potential that a number of companies have supplied there tech to the light engine manufacturer. I am crossing my fingers that we are one of them.
