I share some of your sceptisism but the Federal Govt has thus far been VERY supportive of the burgeoning LNG industry in Qld. JG was proud to open works fro Santos at Gladstone. Its important future export earnings and revenue and JOBS. I expect that the export cosal industry and LNG will go on pretty much as now with little impact .. the main impact will be CERTAINTY! And the main beneficiaries will be gas companies as its the perceived transition fuel.

I'm hopeful of the above anyway.
