Police have charged three men who allegedly knew they had COVID-19 but still travelled from Sydney to the state's Central West.
Just after 2:30pm on Friday, officers spoke to four men — two aged 27, one aged 21 and one aged 49 — in Molong, about 300km from Sydney, after receiving information they had travelled from West Hoxton, in the Liverpool local government area (LGA).

The Liverpool LGA, in Sydney's south-west, has been identified as an area of particular concern in NSW's outbreak of the Delta COVID-19 variant.

The men were working as removalists.

Why would these people ignore the warnings of authorities they must isolate?

These people are probably otherwise normal law-abiding sensible men. Why would they consciously infringe on public safety and continue as if there was nothing wrong with them?

This is the first major public health crisis that I've experienced that has been subject to disinformation. there are some media outlets who disparage the seriousness of COVID 19. the rumours they start and cause disbelief. We all know who they are so I don't see the need to publicise their revenue stream any further.

But this is the consequence of irrational disinformation, watched for entertainment than education, pumped only to dump on viewers who are conned into the bizarre BS they tell.

Any infections they arise from these men at Molong, the kind of place where if you blink, its gone.... any who sicken is due to the disinformation that these men are likely to have been, even via third parties, influenced to think that Covid is nothing to be worried about.

Isn't there a law about freedom of speech that insists the speaker (squawker) must be responsible for the consequences of their pitch?

    if not, why not.
