little johnny received circa 60B for the sale & left a surplus of 20B, must have been a lot of labor subliminal debt, sadly he didn't separate network from customer hence we have another public coy NBN. By time NBN is paid for boe calcs suggests it was just "kicking the can down the road" someone else's problem & the taxpayer coffs again. thanks johnny you're a liberal star.
p.s. imo there has been improvement in overall service vs cost since privatisation but the necessary NBN creation is a huge negative [ never a level playing field for TLS with competitors able to cherry pick & accc dictating access fees ]
