My first hearing in the Family Court. The Judge and my ex's. lawyer walked into the Court from the back room together (common sometimes if the laywer is also a Court appointed lawyer). My ex's Lawyer sat down and then the Judge started to ask her about dinner and drinks for Friday night. What time, where will we meet, oh ok sounds good. Then he turns to me as says, so what's you reason for being here. I turned to the cops sitting in the back and they were shaking their heads. The Judge got angry and told me to finish up if I had nothing important to say. I explained that all my personal belongings were still in the family home and I needed access to get them. He said, sorry can't hear that matter now.
Cheerio oh and bye bye to my life and possessions.
So again, I ask, who or which body stands for abused men. I only wish I reported this to the Qld Attorney General at the time. Meanwhile, lets all feel sorry for Meghan, poor thing.
