Sorry to disappoint but Im no legend trader either, just another punter really.
By "trended" I assume you mean plotted on a chart.
If so I suppose the answer is yes if you have the data.
I tend not to bother with indices to much more interested in the progress of a select few individual companies most of which are outside the main indices anyway.
