Who Thinks UK Launch Will Be Announced?

Who thinks the UK Launch will be announced with the 1H 2019 results on 26th Feb?

Afterpay stated on 23rd August 2018 that the UK would launch "within 6 months". If they make this ambitious goal, that would mean the launch would be the end of February, just when the half year results are reported.

Even if they don't manage to launch in the UK by this date, they will certainly be very close to doing so and may well give a more detailed update on the UK strategy (maybe who their launch retail partner will be?).

PS: I think Afterpay will be given a pass by the Senate Inquiry - i.e. I think the Senate will be satisfied with ASIC having product intervention powers and oversight. I don't think the Inquiry will require Afterpay to be bought under the National Credit Code or be asked to perform in-depth credit checks.
