    Very bad Idea to use credit cards.

    If you do, cash advance your credit card and max it out. They will charge you about $15 per $1000 depending on the bank and at the same time, apply for one of those cheap or low interest credit cards.

    I got City bank at 2.9% for a year on balance transfers. You then balance the transfer over. The max was $7,500 I think.

    So basically I got $7.5k at 2.9%

    I would not go anywhere near $50k, you are dicing with death.

    Best thing to do is get an equity loan if you own a property. Cheapest credit going around if you want large amounts.

    All dangerous of course.
