For every tonne of greenhouse gas you don't use, you save $200

If you want to calculate the impact of the carbon tax on your household, try this calculator.

For me its $6 bucks a week extra, so to be cost neutral, I have to cut my greenhouse gas emissions by 1.5 tonnes per annum.

This is a great calculator to show you where you use greenhouse gases so where you can save.

A second fridge in the garage costs about $300 per annum to run. (1.4 tonnes of GHG)
