    Well, thankyou Scitty. You have confirmed my suspicions that those promoting this tax THINK they are going to be compensated or won't somehow be affected.

    But how do you know you will have exactly $6 per week left over? What if the economists have got it wrong?

    I understand that treasury didn't have time to model the $23 per ton. You might be somewhat out of pocket.

    And how can you possibly believe anything Gillard says? Don't forget she promised no carbon tax. How can you believe her on compensation let alone trust an econonmist to get it right?
