I managed to buy into the Bennelong Market Neutral fund before it was soft closed (same as the Long Short fund, but for retail investors). also have some invested in the Kardinia fund. Best place to park money while the markets are so volatile. Thinking of buying into AEG LIC rather than having a cash reserve for liquidity purposes. Then move money into small caps after the market tanks. Smallco, the boat fund and microequities (or Pie funds) being my favorites.

That 6% decline in 2014 was most likely due to BLSEM focusing on the Alpha 200 fund, which is now defunct...
