Some of the 'investing' (and I use that term loosely) done on the ASX and advertised by punters on HC does defy so much logic.
Quite often on these forums you hear of people buying into a stock and then five minutes later selling it at a loss when it goes 5 or 10% against them only to then proceed to say this stock is "dead" "finished" "lost momentum" etc etc. I am quite truly then baffled what has happened to these 'investors' original thesis when they sell at a 5-10% loss, what has changed in the company - quite often nothing but the price.
If you are going to invest in a stock sell it only when it is fully priced or when the thesis has changed, if you're selling for any other reason pure and simple you're a speculator and you're gambling, if that is the case you're probably better off hitting the casino.
To state the obvious:
- TAW is a long term hold
- A lithium stock leveraged to the lithium price
- The growth of the EV market and;
- MC's ability to execute a business plan and run a business.
They are the only things an investor should be concerned with right now.
