I am hoping for $1.20 bid. Minimum bid has to be $1. Even this is low to me.
75cents I think is a rip-off offer (or say opportunistic) basing on the assets that IGC has. Also there has to be an additional synergy value factored in as premium.
If management (Tony Sage) says yes to 75cents or below then I would be very disappointed and suspect dodgy behind the scene workings. This would be like daylight robbery.
If indeed there is a takeover then fundamental valuation must be used not "40% premium to the last traded share price" unless the last traded share price is close to its fundamental valuation.
Timeframe... well 1-2 weeks translated in more than 2 months. Therefore "Imminent" to me means a month. Tony Sage has no credibility left in terms of his timing announcements...but if he can get $1.20+ then I have to say good work and all is forgiven.
