i think coal is the new oil, in particular dewatered brown coal. A small aussie stock (MNM) has built up a portfolio of potentially 15 billion tonnes of brown coal in Victoria. It is in a JV with a company backed by some global scale coal players that think they can convert it to thermal coal equivalent and sell it to Tata Power in India (who are backing the JV).

market cap only $23 million, revenue potential several hundred million per annum if they pull it off.
