The battle over who speaks for whom in Australia’s Jewish community
The recently formed Jewish Council of Australia – a strident critic of Israel – is accused by other Jewish groups of misleading people about who they represent.

Who will decide whether the newer smaller group messaging is disinformation or misinformation?
Will the larger Jewish organisation due to its largeness persuade the adjudicator that their bigger membership numbers is the determining factor. Or, will the donation to our two major political parties by the two group define the outcome….the smaller organisation will not have the funding to influence our politicians.
We need to have a discussion before it becomes legislation.
