    What are we thinking about Joyce's friend being given two highly paid jobs in front of other candidates?

    Even worse, Pear, there were no other candidates. These jobs did not even exist. They were created to move, into a different office, the source of BJ's preoccupation, viz Vikki. Now she has left, neither of these "jobs" exist. They were ficticious.
