The existing track isn't sufficient to export enough iron ore to make Mayoko a world class export business, hence the billionaire's talks with potential French funders.
The point is, there seems to be plenty of examples popping up within Africa whereby investors, businesses and governments are attempting to make things happen whether it be with minerals, oil and gas etc.
It is just so frustrtaing to see SDL just sitting idle, waiting,,, waiting, waiting...
And my 600km estimate was a guesstimate via thumb measurement on google maps... but yes agree probably is a tad more than 600 clicks.
